So much to do, so little time…

When one door closes, someone, somewhere, opens a window.

TGIF folks, TGIF! What a week it has been over here in my little corner of the world :) Along with work and my side businesses, Arthur and I have been making plans for our big move to California and getting our home organized. I have also been busy at work getting my desk and computer files in order, making a bunch of spread sheets and guides for the new hire, and cleaning out my things from my desk. On top of all of that we have also been putting our condo up for sale, looking for our new home, setting up moving arrangements, and still trying to see our friends and family as much as we can before we go! So yes, it is certainly great that it is the weekend. I think I might just sneak in a nap after work today ;)

WORKOUT:

As I mentioned above, Arthur and I have been trying to spend as much time as we can with our friends and family lately, so last night we had a girls night/boys night. Two of our friends Gordy and Nina came over last night. Nina and I went to see the movie ‘Magic Mike‘, while the boys went out for drinks. Then we all met up later to finish up the evening as a group. It was so much fun! Have any of you seen Magic Mike? What a great movie to see with the girls ;)

With all the business going on, my workouts have been neglected a bit and have been staying pretty short and sweet. I will be making up for that all weekend long, but here is an update of yesterday and this mornings workouts:

  • Thursday Morning: 2 miles on Treadmill @ Level 7
  • Thursday Evening: Tone It Up Dvd workout Surfer Girl
  • Friday Morning: 2.5 miles on Treadmill @ Level 7.5

FOOD:

Post run this morning I whipped up a delicious protein shake I call the Pineapple Protein Shake. Try it out, you will NOT regret it! It was the perfect refreshing breakfast for a summer morning :)

Lunch and Dinner yesterday were both pretty random and quick. Again, we have just been so busy that meal planning has become very minor on our to-do lists. I promise when things slow down I will make up for it with some incredible recipes I have been saving for you :)

With that said, lunch yesterday consisted of a very plain Cesar salad:

And dinner was a mix of BBQ pulled pork and green beans:

I added salt and pepper to taste.

Arthur ate his BBQ pulled pork on a bun, and I just ate it plain with my green beans.

And look what has been put on display in my office!

I am pretty sure this will cause me incredible torture over the next few weeks I have left here, but I am determined to stay strong!

Well that is all for now! I am off to finish my work day and then I have a date with the couch for a few hours! teehee! And later my bestie is coming over Kelsey, I can’t wait!

Have a fabulous weekend lovlies :)

How do you control temptations like the sweets in my office?
