Happy Monday HHC Readers!
How was your weekend? My weekend was busy as I prepared for Thanksgiving. There is so much work that goes into cooking a Thanksgiving meal! I appreciate my family and all the hard work they have done in the past to make the holiday so delicious This year, doing it all by myself, it going to be a challenge! I readily accept it though
On Friday evening, after my meeting, Arthur started to feel sick. He caught the bug I had earlier in the week So we did not end up making it over to the Christmas tree ceremony. I did however wonder over there later to get a good look! The picture does it no justice, it is truly a magnificent tree!
Friday’s HHC Health & Wellness TOTD was to take a picture of something beautiful. To enjoy the beauty of something wonderful, and capture it so you can share it with those you love. That I did, the Christmas tree above is my picture, and I share it with you all
Saturday morning I woke up pretty early and got to work pulling out the remaining Thanksgiving decorations and getting the house ready for this week. I also spent a large amount of time researching Thanksgiving recipe and putting together the grocery list. (I think Arthur and I will be eating Thanksgiving leftovers for a whole week after the holiday )
Since Arthur was not feeling well, I ended up tasting wine all on my own. Since Saturday’s HHC Health & Wellness TOTD was to elude to a cheery evening of wine tasting, even though it was a quiet night, I wanted to do it. So I poured myself a lovely glass of wine, popped in my favorite Thanksgiving movie (The Family Stone), and snuggled up by my poor sick honey.
Sunday morning I finished up any last minute decorating. Sunday’s HHC Health and Wellness TOTD was to spend time decorating for the holidays and enjoy the festive mood. Therefore, I purposely left a few things to complete on Sunday.
I also stopped for a bit to do my nails and curl my hair. I wanted to practice my look for the holidays, and for my new job
Finally, I snuggled up and got reading on The Elephant Keeper’s Children that we are reading together HERE. If you want to get on the bandwagon with the rest of us at HHC BOOK CLUB just follow the link below!

Buying flowers is something that many females love to do. The colors, the delicacy, the fragrance; it all makes for a special experience. Today, go buy a beautiful Thanksgiving bouquet to put up in your home for the holiday, or to bring to share with your friends and family.
I wanted to really be able to smell my bouquet so I made sure to get one with lilly’s in it. So beautiful, isn’t it?!
